Worth the 45 min drive. Costumer service amazing. And they actually give you the time of day ( and they have everything any department store doesnt). My new go to!!

Ken’s Hardware, for last 40+ years, has been an asset to the community. I still remember going in there quite often, and the original owner, Ken, was always a valuable resource. I couldn’t help but notice that every time I went in there with a problem, I walked out with a solution. Today, his son, Frank Kenny, carries on that same tradition. No matter the problem, the solution can be found at Ken’s Hardware. Recently, I happened to be looking for a small, obscure part to fix an outdoor faucet—it’s a 50 yr. old, outdoor faucet. Rather than having to pay a plumber to come out to fix it, I paid $7 for the part, and I was able to fix the faucet myself.  This saved me a few hundred dollars. There have been other instances when I have stopped in the store, and I was helped by other employees. Frank’s staff is consistently knowledgeable and helpful. If you want to save yourself time and money—just go to Ken’s Hardware.

Been buying at Kens for years. They have the best price on bird seed around! and many different types of quality suet that our backyard birds prefer to the other brands. Ken's also sells bird feeders. We've shopped around for good quality, cheaper birdseed and find that Kens Hardware is the cheapest and best! Very helpful staff as well.

I can’t say enough great things about Ryan — better known as “Bean” — at Ken’s Hardware. Every time I walk in, Ryan absolutely rocks the customer experience. His knowledge is as solid as granite, and he always helps customers dig up exactly what they need without making anyone feel pressured or rushed. Ryan has an incredible way of breaking things down so they’re easy to understand — like a true master of stratification. Whether you’re a seasoned DIY pro or just starting to chip away at your first project, he meets you at your level and helps you build confidence layer by layer. Honestly, his customer service skills are nothing short of groundbreaking. What really stands out is his attitude. Ryan brings positive energy that’s magnetic — you can tell he genuinely enjoys helping people. I've been a fan of hardware stores all my life (real one's, not Home Depot n the others). The employees at the big chain places rarely know what they are talking about, no matter how convincing they try to be. This always leads to multiple return trips, multiple product returns, and wasted time and money. I went through this recently. After a month of back and forth to multiple places and zero problems being resolved, I finally decided to go to Kens Hardware (20+ miles away). Frank Kenny took the time and care to understand exactly what I needed. He then he took the time to customize a solution for me and gather the various parts needed. Afterwards he gave me instructions on how to make it all work. This place is the best. No other hardware store will go to the lengths that Kens does, and certainly no big chain place has any employees with even a tenth of the knowledge needed to legitimately help the average customer coming through the door, no matter how much they act like they know what they're talking about.
